The Anniversary Celebration of the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (APKASI) was closed with the agenda of the 2022 Princess Autonomy Election. This spectacular event was held at the Vimala Ballroom of the Pullman Vimala Hills Hotel, Ciawi, Saturday (18/06/2022). On this occasion, Bogor Regency, which was appointed to host the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) and the commemoration of the 22nd APKASI Anniversary, successfully held the event.
On this occasion the Regent of Tulang Bawang, Dr. Hj Winarti SE.,MH. Who also serves as Deputy General Treasurer of APKASI accompanying the General Chairperson of APKASI Sutan Riska Tuanku Kingdom and all APKASI leaders present with extraordinary performance as if to provide their own motivation for all APKASI members to continue to strive to contribute to the progress of Development and the Indonesian Economy.
This event was extraordinary because it was attended by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Jhon Wempi Wetipo, who was recently inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo, on (15/06/2022) at the State Palace in Jakarta. In the speech delivered by the former regent of Jayawijaya Two Periods, he greatly appreciated the entire ranks of APKASI for all the efforts carried out regarding the progress of development carried out in their respective regions.
“Hopefully this momentum will further strengthen APKASI’s commitment and existence in order to realize its vision and mission,” said the Deputy Minister who was born from Jayawijaya Papua.
He further stated that “I hope that the Regents as part of APKASI can optimally support the National Economic Recovery through creative breakthroughs from the service sector such as Agriculture, Fisheries and so on in order to upgrade their respective Regional Revenues.”
The Regent of Winarti, who was holding the Regional Autonomy Women’s Election in 2022, had the opportunity to ask some questions to the finalists and also gave a message to participants who are Role Models of the Present Generation to focus on helping efforts to restore the National economy through their respective potentials. Separately, Srikandi Tulang Bawang said that she really hopes that the best Indonesian women can show their capacity in national economic development. Gender equality in our country must be optimized so that it has a positive impact on the progress of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
The excitement of this event was closed with the appearance of Putri Tapanuli Utara as the first winner, followed by Runner Up 1 from Kebumen Regency. Runner Up 2 was the Princess from Banyumas Regency and the beautiful Puteri from Bandung had to be satisfied with being Runner Up 3, then the Host of Bogor Regency closed the 2022 APKASI event sweetly because Puteri His flagship was able to win the title as Favorite Champion.
